A Chapter 11 plan that has been negotiated with the major constituency or most of the major constituencies prior to filing. Unlike a Prepackaged Plan, the Prenegotiated Plan is not immediately ready to confirm and must pass through the disclosure statement process and usually some additional voting process and negotiations or perhaps even a contested confirmation.
