Professional Persons

Persons employed by the debtor, trustee, or a committee to represent or serve the debtor in some capacity in its bankruptcy case on bankruptcy-related matters, including attorneys, accountants, appraisers, and auctioneers, and sometimes brokers, investment bankers, and other consultants. Their engagement and compensation is subject to bankruptcy court approval and scrutiny.
