A pleading filed by a professional person retained by the trustee, debtor, or an officially appointed committee requesting bankruptcy court approval of payment of the fees and costs incurred by that professional in connection with its employment in the bankruptcy case. Fee applications are subject to review and objection by all parties in interest in a Chapter 11 case.
